Pillars Of Love

Album by Kaalassic (8 tracks – Released February 2026)

Pillars Of Love is the second full chapter from Kaalassic — a deeply personal, 8-track journey through the people, places, and quiet forces that hold us up when life tries to pull us down.

Born from the Goldfields dirt and the unbreakable spirit of whānau, this album is dedicated to the real pillars in TK's life: the families who took him in, the siblings who became brothers and sisters through time, the parents who carried grief and still stood tall, the cousins who radiate love, and the inner strength that kept him going when the darkness felt too heavy.

Each song is a pillar — a story, a memory, a thank-you, a reminder that love and connection are what keep us standing.

Track List & Dedications

1. 20yrs At Your Door

Dedicated to the Armstrong family — the ones who opened their home and hearts when TK first arrived in Australia. A song of gratitude for 20 years of unwavering support.

2. First Up, Last One Down

A driving country riff about the hustle and bustle of family life — the early mornings, late nights, endless giving, and the quiet pride in being the one who never stops.

3. Big Young Sister

Dedicated to Pheobe Smith — family since 1990. A celebration of the sister who grew up alongside him, fierce, loyal, and always there.

4. Leftover Umbrella

A vulnerable look at mental health struggles and the people who stayed when TK wanted to give up. These are the true pillars of love — the ones who hold the umbrella when the storm feels endless.

5. Beacon Smiles

Dedicated to Pops and Tania / Mum — the guiding lights, the smiles that cut through darkness, the steady love that never wavered.

6. See You Soon

Dedicated to cousin Mairia Te Are — a beautiful expression of her love for life, family, and her mum. A gentle, hopeful track that carries her warmth.

7. Every Second Counts

Reflecting on TK's previous life in the 90s — hanging out with the brothers, living fast, feeling free, and learning that every second truly matters.

8. Long Days

Dedicated to Mum — mourning the loss of brother Rairi Kaa (1979–2000). A tender, aching song about how she copes with grief every single day, turning long days into quiet acts of endurance and love.

Pillars Of Love is Kaalassic at its most honest: no filters, no grand production tricks, just real stories wrapped in country rock, country pop, ballads, and cinematic soul.

It honours the people who became family, the losses that shaped us, and the love that keeps us standing.

Independent spirit. Family first.

Born for the journey.
